Ogopogo Adventures is a site that is dedicated to some of the outdoor adventures that can be experienced in and around British Columbia's Okanagan valley. Based in Penticton, British Columbia, the Ogopogo Adventures team invites you to join us as we document our travels throughout this geographical paradise we call home.
Avid outdoor enthusiasts, we often find ourselves rediscovering forgotten, backroads,ghost towns, or old abandoned mining sites. Other times, we take in some of the local attractions, go rock hounding, or camping at some of the many area campgrounds. We thought other people might share our interests and decided to create a site that would detail our adventures for others to experience.
Each Ogopogo Adventure will describe where our destination is located, and will have a Google map on the page so you can plan the best way to get there. We will also include recent pictures, with the focus being on any of the "must see" attractions, and include GPS coordinates for better accuracy. Check out our current Featured Adventure.
A special feature of this site is the Archives. As we feature a new Ogopogo Adventure, we will automatically archive the preceding one so you can easily revisit the information at your convenience.
